Official Statement from the Central Blockchain Council of America (CBCA)

Subject: Transition and Conclusion of CBCA Certification Programs

Dear CBCA Community,

We would like to inform our valued members, candidates, and the broader blockchain industry that, due to changes in the market landscape and evolving industry dynamics, the Central Blockchain Council of America (CBCA) has made the difficult decision to wind up its certification programs. This transition reflects our commitment to adapting to the changing needs of the blockchain ecosystem and ensuring the continued relevance and value of professional credentials in this rapidly evolving field.

Key Updates:

  • Retirement of Certification Programs: As of now, all CBCA certification programs have been officially retired. We will no longer be accepting new candidates for certification.
  • Valid Credentials for Life: All individuals who have earned a CBCA certification will continue to hold their credentials, which are now valid for life. These credentials will continue to be verified through Credbadge, ensuring that professionals can demonstrate their achievements and expertise to the blockchain community.
  • Eligibility for Examination: Candidates who registered by  July 31, 2024, remain eligible to sit for their respective exams. If you are a registered candidate, we encourage you to schedule your examination by  February 28, 2025. Please reach out to our support team at support[at]cbcamerica.org to arrange your exam.
  • Ongoing Support for Certified Professionals: CBCA will continue to offer verification services for certified professionals through Credbadge, allowing for the seamless validation of your credentials even as the certification programs wind down.

We deeply appreciate the trust and support that the blockchain community has shown us over the years. While we close this chapter, we remain dedicated to promoting excellence, education, and the advancement of blockchain technology. We believe this decision reflects a natural evolution in the industry, and we are grateful for your participation and engagement in our programs.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Sincerely,

The Central Blockchain Council of America (CBCA)
